Responsibilities:

  • Rotating Shifts: Work on a rotating schedule with shifts from 07:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00, and 23:00-07:00, five days a week.
  • Customer Assistance: Provide expert assistance and consulting to our customers through Voice, Email, and Chat.
  • Customer Care: Take ownership of each help request, ensuring every customer is treated with care, authenticity, and integrity.
  • Documentation: Accurately document relevant details to assist customers and support your colleagues with future requests.
  • First Contact Resolution: Strive for first contact resolution; if unresolved, appropriately code and escalate trouble tickets to 2nd level support.
  • Feedback: Relay valuable customer feedback to Supervisors and Managers to help improve products, services, and overall customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities:

    Monitoring and Uptime Services

    • Ensure proper and accurate monitoring. Update various metrics depending on the server to reflect reality and prevent unnecessary alarms.
    • Record recurring infrastructure-related problems on a weekly basis. Present these issues to the team to find solutions and address them.
    • Server provisioning and automation.

    Monitoring the Utilization of Live Servers

    • Replacement of fully utilized servers.
    • Installation and proper deployment of new servers for use.
    • Create and update mechanisms for the automatic installation and provisioning of production servers.

    DevOps

    • Support the development team.
    • Provide tools and infrastructure to developers.

    Requirements:

    • More than 4-5 years managing Linux server infrastructures.
    • In-depth understanding of Linux systems.
    • Strong programming skills in at least one programming language, such as Python.
    • Experience with web and email services (APACHE, HTTP, Exim, Dovecot).
    • Experience with virtualization technologies like KVM.
    • Working knowledge of a configuration management system like Ansible.
    • Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
    • Effective communication and writing skills, with a strong preference for Jira and Confluence.
